The Chronicles of the Wild
An experience in Wood and Stone
At the center of Chronicles of the Wild stands the Founders’ Home — a warm wooden refuge nestled between whispering pines and the quiet hum of the hills. It is not a house built upon the land, but a dwelling grown from it — stone by stone, dream by dream. The gentle bridge that leads you here crosses more than a stream; it crosses into a different rhythm of living, one where mornings are measured in birdsong and evenings in the flicker of amber light.
At Chronicles of the Wild, we recognise that we have merely made a small space within the vast space that Mother Nature has graciously offered us — and we remain ever cognizant of that privilege. Every structure, every cottage, every cabin has been designed and built with reverence for the land, so that each sits in quiet conversation with its surroundings. The architecture is simple yet soulful, the living intentional and unhurried — a space where humans, nature, and our dogs have thrived together in balance for over a year.
Now, as we open this space to you, we do so with deep confidence that this harmony will continue — that those who arrive will not just visit, but belong. Because here, among the trees and the mountains, we do not offer escape from the world — we offer a gentle way of returning to it

Peaceful Harmony with Nature
At Chronicles of the Wild, we know that we have merely shaped a small corner within the grand expanse that Mother Nature has allowed us to call home — and we hold that awareness close, like a quiet prayer. Every cottage, every cabin, every stone and beam has been placed with reverence, in conversation with the forest that surrounds it. Nothing here seeks to conquer the landscape; everything seeks to belong to it.
The architecture breathes simplicity and soul, carrying the scent of timber, the touch of mountain wind, and the stillness of rain-soaked earth. Life here is intentional — a gentle rhythm where people, trees, and our dogs have learned to share space in seamless understanding.
The bridge that connects our guest homes to the founders’ dwelling is more than a path — it is a symbol. It marks the crossing from the known to the natural, from the world of doing to the art of simply being. As we open this space to you for that cup of tea or soulful banter, we do so with faith that the harmony. We may not be always available but when we are, we will be present and listening.

The Guest's Home
In the wild, ownership is an illusion. The forest doesn’t ask who you are, the river doesn’t keep your name, and the wind doesn’t remember where it last blew. Yet, somehow, when you arrive — tired from the world, quiet from its noise — nature receives you as though you’ve always belonged.
That is the spirit of Chronicles of the Wild.
We do not build guest houses; we create guest homes.
A house is a structure — four walls and a roof. A home is a feeling — of safety, warmth, and unspoken welcome.
Here, our walls are made of wood and story, our windows frame the slow dance of the forest, and every doorway opens not just into a room, but into a rhythm — a slower, deeper way of being.
Our cottages and cabins are not escapes from life, but gentle invitations to re-enter it more fully. To hear the birds before your thoughts. To taste the local simple food with quiet intention. To watch light move across the day as though time itself were breathing.
Luxury, for us, is not gold or grandeur. It is the rare comfort of stillness.
It is the freedom to wander barefoot on damp earth, to speak softly by the fire, to let silence become your favorite sound.
Each stay here is a story — one that begins when you arrive and continues long after you’ve gone. You may come seeking rest, adventure, or inspiration, but what you find will be something subtler: a homecoming.
Because in the end, the wild does not keep us as guests.
It keeps us as kin.
